Sailing down rivers of chocolate, trying new sweets, being shown on "Wonkavision", listening to the songs of the little orange gentlemen with green hair... Okay, at Don Ibérico you won't find Oompa Loompas moving hams, but you will see a simple, family-run factory full of hard-working people that makes the best Iberian products in the region .

Who are we?

Our family has been linked to the Iberian tradition for four generations. The passion with which we started is still maintained today. We are committed to artisanal and careful production. Unhurried production and prioritising quality over quantity allows us to obtain the best Iberian sausages, hams and shoulders in the region.

And as an example, our 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham and our 100% Iberian acorn-fed shoulder, which have received the highest possible score for the superior flavour award .

Where are we?

Don Ibérico is located in Guijuelo, a small town located 50 kilometres from Salamanca and the birthplace of the Iberian pig. Since our beginnings we have worked in this privileged enclave, where the long, cold winters and short, dry summers make the area the perfect place for drying and maturing all our products .

What do we do?

In case you still had any doubts, we are a factory of Iberian sausages, hams and shoulders. We have our own herd of Iberian pigs that enjoy our pastures throughout their lives. There, they move freely to look for food and water, which encourages the infiltration of fat in the muscle and gives that characteristic juiciness to our products.

In order to achieve the best products, we have combined tradition with the latest technologies to achieve the highest quality in the most sustainable way possible .

What will I find?

During your visit you will take a tour of the entire factory. We will begin by telling you a little about our history and then we will visit the different rooms while you learn about the different manufacturing processes of each of the products.

You will be able to see the sausage smoking room, the salting room for hams and shoulders, and the cellars where they are dried until they are ready to eat. Oh! And meet the great family that is Don Ibérico .

In addition, you will enjoy a wonderful tasting of our best products in our cosy lounge and you will end your visit in the Don Ibérico store, where you can buy the products you like the most for yourself or for whoever you want and in the format you choose.
