Being a top quality natural product , the best way coincides with the simplest of all: we recommend eating it alone , cut into thin slices and in the case of ham that does not exceed 3 centimeters in length, the ideal is for the product to be be at room temperature, 22-24º , since if you eat it directly from the refrigerator, if it is already sliced by our professionals, the product will lose a large part of its properties, both in terms of taste, smell, aroma and texture, while Otherwise, if they are at very high temperatures, these qualities could be negatively affected, causing premature degradation of the product.
For those who cannot resist, we also recommend the tasting with breadcrumbs or fresh, good-quality bread.
How to Preserve Hams and Shoulders?
Our hams are sent at the right point to consume, but that does not mean that they do not last up to 1 or even 2 months (if they are not exposed to a lot of heat) without starting. Of course, the best thing is that you keep it hanging or in the ham holder and without the cover in which we send it, so that the ham breathes and tempers until it is consumed.
- Once they have started, it is advisable to cut them every day, even a little, since otherwise the piece will dry out and lose all the properties related to taste, smell, aroma and texture. When you no longer want to cut any more, we recommend wrapping the piece in transparent paper so that it is not in contact with the air and putting a kitchen towel on top, so that it does not get light, but keep in mind that even after the month , the ham will lose properties.
How to keep the sliced pieces and how long do they last?
- In the fridge is the best, and take the sachets out the day before eating them so that they warm up, but if you can't stand it for that long we have a little trick , open the hot water tap and put the sachet under it, 15 seconds on each side and ready! Outside the refrigerator they can last you 1 or 2 months, in the refrigerator it reaches 8 or 9 almost like freshly cut
How to Preserve the Sausage?
- If it is unopened, in the refrigerator. Once opened , it is best to keep it outside since if you store it again it will lose its characteristic texture. Leave it outside, in a cool place and cover it with a cloth . When you go to taste it, remove the first slice (finite) that will be more oxidized and that's it! Or order our halves like this while you eat half, the other you keep in the fridge!
